Technology is advancing very quickly. What is latest today becomes obsolete in the next day. We also keep changing our mobile phones if not every year then at least every two years, then we need to transfer our email and contacts from the old phone to the new phone. Transfer Gmail Contacts to Android
Requirements
- Gmail account details
- Internet on android phone.
Import contacts from Gmail, to do this first go to the Gmail app and sign in on Android, if you haven’t already done it. Next go to settings on Android, click on “Accounts and Sync”, choose your Gmail account and make sure contacts Sync is enabled.
Transfer iCloud Contacts to Android
Requirements
- Apple account details
- Internet on Android.
Download the app called “Sync for iCloud”, Login to your iCloud account through the App. Now let it transfer your iCloud contacts to the newly purchased Android.
Transfer Yahoo Contacts to Android
Requirements
- Yahoo! Account details
- Internet on Android.
Go to playstore and download the Yahoo App, Login to your Yahoo account on the downloaded app ,and let it transfer the contacts stored in Yahoo to your newly purchased Android phone.
Transfer Hotmail/Windows live/ Microsoft Contacts to Android
Requirements
- MSN/Windows live/Microsoft Account details
- Internet on Android
Go to playstore and download the Microsoft Outlook App, Login to your Microsoft account on the downloaded app ,and let it transfer the contacts stored in Microsoft Account to your newly purchased Android phone.
iPhone is a great phone but it has many setbacks. The major setback for me was its battery life. That’s why I had to leave behind my iPhone 5 and purchase an Android phone which has a better battery life.
There might be duplicate contacts after syncing. To solve this go to setting contacts, merge contacts. If your phone doesn’t have this feature then download Duplicate Contacts from playstore.
